Willian back on Manchester United radar

Manchester United are understood to have made contact with Willian’s representative ahead of a probable approach for his services in the summer. The Red Devils had enquired over the winger’s availability last summer but Chelsea refused to discuss a deal after losing Nemanja Matic to the same outfit.

According to M.E.N, the Mancunian giants appear back in the hunt for the Brazil international despite Jose Mourinho claiming that he would not be interested in making forward signings for the summer.

Mourinho has spoken fondly about Willian on a number of occasions in the past, and the 29-year-old is supposedly being earmarked as a probable candidate to bolster the right side of the attack.

Over the course of the season, United have utilised the likes of Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial but none have found success on a consistent basis.

Manchester United end their campaign with an FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday and they will be aiming to end the season on a high in Willian and the Blues’ expense.
