Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli has insisted that current boss Antonio Conte can’t wait to leave Stamford Bridge. Despite leading the Blues to the Premier League title last season, Conte looks set for a summer exit out of West London.
Conte has been famously vocal regarding his club’s transfer policy this season and it is apparent that the Italian now will be heading for pastures new.
Vialli, a former Chelsea manager himself, told reporters at Sky Sport Italia: “Conte can’t wait to leave Chelsea.
“He can’t stand that they sell or buy players without consulting him.
“The truth is, Chelsea would like a manager who is more of a club man.”
Conte has been linked with a host of jobs across Europe, but is believed to be favouring a return to his homeland of Italy.
Conte has two years remaining on his Blues’ contract and it is believed that Thomas Tuchel is the man that Roman Abramovich wants to replace the Italian.
